L’Associazione G_elevato2 nasce il 12 ottobre del 2012 a Gonnosfanadiga, con l’intento di riunire i “giovani per Gonnos” (da qui la G al quadrato). È un’associazione giovanile che accoglie chiunque voglia farne parte: nel tempo ha visto passare giovani dai 17 ai 40 anni, ognuno con i propri valori, le proprie identità, i propri studi e le proprie professionalità. Negli anni l’associazione si è occupata di varie attività culturali:
- “Percorsi di fine estate”, attività culturali e di intrattenimento che coinvolgono direttamente i cittadini e che riguardano la promozione dell’arte, della fotografia, della danza, della musica, della lettura, del cinema, con attenta partecipazione di artisti emergenti del territorio.
- “Natale in Fiera”, una fiera natalizia in cui si promuove il fatto a mano, contornato da musica, giochi di società e prelibatezze dai profumi natalizi.
- redazione del giornale “G_elevato3 – Giornale dei Giovani x Gonnos”: nel 2014, grazie ad un finanziamento regionale su un bando della L.R. n. 3/2009 per “Interventi a favore dei problemi dei giovani”, abbiamo registrato la testata, realizzando un totale di 9 uscite (3 delle quali autofinanziate).
- dal 2017 abbiamo coordinato la manifestazione “Monumenti Aperti”: abbiamo curato infopoint, contest fotografici, tour tematici (es. tour dei frantoi; tour dei rifugi anti-aerei; tour della memoria – dedicato al Bombardamento del 17 febbraio 1943) e promosso l’evento sui social.
- Nel 2020 siamo risultati beneficiari di un bando cofinanziato dal Corpo Europeo di Solidarietà coordinato dall’Agenzia Nazionale Giovani (ANG) con un Progetto dal titolo “Rurability – La voce della gioventù rurale”, avente l’obiettivo di coinvolgere tutta la cittadinanza, redarre un blog e realizzare un percorso narrativo fruibile attraverso QRcode, grazie al quale abbiamo potuto realizzare questo e altri pannelli diffusi tra le strade di Gonnosfanadiga.
Ma se ti trovi qui, oltre al pannello, avrai notato due preziosissime casette piene di libri, facenti parte del circuito Bookcrossing. Questa piazzetta ci è stata affidata con delibera n° 62 del 22/07/2015, dopo varie richieste alle Amministrazioni. Il nostro intento è stato da sempre quello di diffondere la cultura liberamente e sin dalla nostra costituzione le abbiamo provate tutte: AperiLibro nei bar (poi tenuti su Meet durante la Pandemia da Covid-19), incontri con gli autori, laboratori culturali, ludici e narrativi, cineforum e tanto altro. Queste casette vogliono essere la prova vivente del nostro esserci in paese, un punto di riferimento fisso per la popolazione, in cui poter prendere/donare libri durante tutto l’anno e a tutte le ore. Non dimenticheremo mai il taglio del nastro avvenuto quel 20 Dicembre 2015, tra vari eventi natalizi organizzati in compresenza, un evento che ci ha visto commossi nel donare al paese un servizio culturale tangibile e entusiasti nel ricevere sorrisi e coinvolgimento. Da quel giorno le casette sono state costantemente monitorate, e restaurate periodicamente da volontari, hanno visto passare tanti fiori e piante sotto di esse, ma soprattutto tanti libri letti e poi rilasciati.

G_ELEVATO 2 – P.ZA DE ANDRÈ
G_elevato2 Association was born on 12th October 2012 in Gonnosfanadiga, with the intention of bringing together the “youth for Gonnos” (hence the G squared). It is a young association, which welcomes anyone who wants to be part of it: over time, young people from the aged of 17 to 40, passed in our association, each with their own values, their own identities, their studies, and their own professionalism.
Over the years the association has dealt with various cultural activities:
- “End-of-summer routes” (“Percorsi di fine estate2), cultural and entertainment activities that directly involve the citizens and that concern the promotion of art, photography, dance, music, reading, cinema, with the careful participation of emerging artists of the territory.
- “Christmas at the Fair”, a Christmas event in which are promoted the handmade products, surrounded by music, board games and delicacies with typical Christmas scents.
- Newspaper drafting “G_elevato3 – Giornale dei Giovani x Gonnos”: in 2014, thanks to regional funding on a call by the L.R. n. 3/2009 for “Interventions in favour of young people problems “, we registered the magazine, realizing a total of 9 release (3 of which are self-financed).
- Since 2017 we have coordinated the “Open Monuments” events: we have curated info points, photo contests, thematic tours (examples frantoi tours; anti-aircraft shelter tours; memory tour – dedicated to the Bombardment of 17 February 1943) we also promoted the event on social media.
- In 2020 we resulted beneficiaries of a call co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps coordinated by the National Youth Agency (ANG) with a Project called “Rurability – The voice of rural youth”, with the aim of involving all citizens, and the creation of a blog and a realisation of a narrative path, accessible through Qrcode, thanks to it we could realize this, and other panels spread among Gonnosfanadiga’s street.
If you are here, beyond to the panel, you will have noticed two precious houses full of books, belonging of the Bookcrossing’s circuit. This square has been entrusted to us by resolution N’ 62 of 22/07/2015, after various requests to the Administrations. Our intent has always been to spread the culture freely and since our constitution we have tried all of them: AperiLibro in bars (then kept on Meet during the Covid-19 Pandemic) meetings with authors, cultural workshops, ludic and narrative, film clubs and much more. These houses want to be the living proof of our being in the country, a reference point for the population, where you can take or donate books throughout the year and at any hour. We will never forget the ribbon-cutting, which took place on December 20th, 2015, among various Christmas events organized in coexistence, this one touched us, because for the first time we give the country a tangible cultural service, we feel excited to receive smiles and involvement. Since that day, the houses have been constantly monitored, and periodically restored by volunteers, they have seen pass many flowers and plants under them, but above despite this, many books are read and then released.
